Wordict IP is one of the oldest IP Law firms in the State of Telangana. Wordict IP believes that all practical legal skills are rooted in tacit knowledge. We encourage law students to experience the practice of law in order to acquire skills. As a part of its in-house policy, Wordict IP offers online internship programs for students. Since patents deal with of technical aspects, we also offer internship opportunities for students from science background. Through the internship program the interns get introduced to practice of intellectual property law and other allied laws.


Wordict IP shall take Intellectual Property enthusiasts as interns, who are willing to work sincerely.

Term of Internship

Internship shall be granted for a minimum period of thirty days. Cancellation or extension of the same is subject to the discretion of internship co-ordinator.

Nature of Work

Intern should be willing to indulge in research work and drafting articles. They are expected to complete the tasks assigned with at most proficiency and responsibility.


  1. Interns should finish the task assigned with their best capability in time.
  2. Interns should submit a weekly report of tasks assigned and tasks completed to the internship co-ordinator
  3. Any kind of violation of the above stated rules shall lead to the termination of internship.

Application Process

To apply for an internship please fill out the form and upload your resume. If the internship co-ordinator finds your application suitable, she shall confirm your internship within 15 days of application. The mode of selection shall be the sole discretion of internship co-ordinator.

Submission of Blogs and Articles

  1. All submissions must be accompanied by:

      o A covering letter with the name(s) of the author(s), institution/affiliation, the title of the submission and contact information (email, phone, etc.).

      o In case of article submission, an abstract of not more than 300 words should be submitted.

  2. Content of submission should be in relation to Intellectual Property law, information technology law, Civil Procedure Code, Mediation and Arbitration.
  3. All submissions should ideally be made in Word Format (.doc)/(.docx).
  4. Text and citations should ideally conform to the rules in THE BLUEBOOK: A UNIFORM SYSTEM OF CITATION (18th edition). However, uniform citation style might be accepted in appropriate circumstances.
  5. To facilitate the publication of concise and relevant legal scholarship, the authors are encouraged not to exceed 1,000 words for blog and 3000 words for article (exclusive of footnotes). However, this word limit is not binding and can be waived in appropriate circumstances.
  6. Authors should inform the Editorial Board regarding the prior publication of their submission.
  7. For all submissions accepted and published (other than those with prior publication) an amount of 1000 Rs/- is paid to the author.
  8. Authors who wish to further publish their work in other journals or blogs must mention that their work has been already published by Wordict IP in all such further publications.
